NEWS:

Basketball:  Attention 7^th and 8^th grade boys interested in going out for boys basketball.  There will be an informational meeting to sign up for basketball today, December 15^th after school.  8^th graders will be in the North Gym (Gym 145) and 7^th graders will be in the Middle Gym (Gym 141). Coaches will share information about the upcoming season. Tryouts for both 7^th and 8^th  grade will be from December 19-21^st . If you are unable to make the meeting, 8^th graders should talk with Ms. Brooks/Mr. Sis and 7^th graders should talk with Mr. Thomas/Mr. Gatewood/Mr. Sis before December 15^th. We hope to see you there! 

8^th Graders going to Lincoln High and interested in auditioning for choir:  All students planning to audition should join the 2023-2024 LHS Choir Audition Google Classroom at cyzrg57.  In this classroom, you will find the audition form, Show Choir Handbook, and all audition materials.

Information events for the eight LPS high schools in January are an important component of the transition process. The events are designed to share information about the opportunities available at each school. 8th-grade students with their families should plan to attend. You can attend one or all 8 events. If your student is still unsure which HS they will attend we encourage you to attend multiple info nights.

Goodrich students and staff! Student Council is selling candy canes the week before break! Come buy a minty treat for only 25 cents at any of the grade level doors. We will be selling them from 3:00-3:15 December 19th-21st. Please make sure to stand in a single-file line and wait patiently!

Reminder:  Today, December 13^th, 2022, we have Dragon Zone and it is a PLC Day with early dismissal at 1:40 pm.  There will be no clubs or intramural sports practice.  Please be sure your rides are arranged ahead of time.
