NEWS:

Soccer Meeting:  Any 7th & 8th Graders who are interested in soccer there will be an informational meeting today, August 21st at 3:05 pm in the middle gym.  We will be done by 3:20 pm. If you can’t make the meeting, see Mrs. Brooks in Room 112 for more information.

Picture Day Reminder:  Picture Day is Wednesday, August 23^rd, 2023.  Picture Order Forms are being sent home today.  Your parents may order a picture package online or by returning the envelope WITH MONEY on picture day (Wednesday, August 23^rd, 2023).  We do not want order envelopes early, please bring them on picture day!

Cross Country Meeting:  There will be an informational meeting for all 7^th & 8^th graders interested in running Cross Country for Goodrich this year on Thursday, August 24^th in Room 20 (FCS) at 3:05 pm. If you are unable to make the meeting, please talk to Ms. Horan or Ms. Pearson. Practices will begin on Monday, August 28^th.

NEWS:

Dismissal:  We will have regular dismissal at 3:00 pm today, Friday, August 18^th.  We will continue with regular dismissal at 3:00 pm next week.

Volleyball Meeting:  There will be an informational meeting for all 7^th & 8^th grade girls interested in playing volleyball for Goodrich today, August 18^th in Felker’s Room (Room 11) starting at 3:04 pm. We will be done by 3:30. If you are at all interested come find out more!

NEWS:

Goodrich Yearbook:  Remember to buy your Goodrich yearbook before it is too late to get one.  You can come to the school office to buy one.  Yearbooks are $20.00 each.

Lockers:  Lockers will not be available the last week of school.

Chromebooks will be checked in starting today, May 22^nd for 6^th graders and Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23^rd and 24^th for 7^th and 8^th graders.  Be sure to have your Chromebook, bag and charger (both pieces) with you on check-in day. Clean out your Chromebook bag ahead of time.  You will be fined if you do not have both pieces of the charger and your bag or if your device has any damage.

Bags:  No bags (athletic bags, back packs, purses, etc.) will be allowed in the building after locker clean out.  If any bags are brought to school, they will be confiscated and kept in the office for the day.  Any items that could disrupt school or endanger the health or well-being of students will be confiscated.  DO NOT BRING ANY BAGS OF ANY KIND TO SCHOOL.  If you bring a cold lunch, we will store it in the office until lunch time.

Reminder:  We will have early dismissal on the last day of school, Thursday, May 25^th and we will use a staggered early dismissal plan.
