Science Bowl Team: The Science Bowl Team will have after school practice Thursday, January 14th from 3:00-4:00 pm in Mr. Little’s room #12.
Attention 7th Graders: Students may turn-in their parent signed “8th Grade Elective Selection” worksheet to their 1st period teacher who will then place it in Ms. Graves’ mailbox. Students have until Friday, January 22nd, to make changes to their elective selections and get the worksheet turned into Ms. Graves.
Dragon Choir (open to 6-8th) will meet every Wednesday at 7 am in Room 137 starting January 20th. Piano group (6-8th) will meet every Thursday at 7 am in Room 137 starting January 21st. Students should talk to Mr. Oltman if they are interested and they need to fill out the waiver.
Attention 8th graders: High school registration is coming up in February. From now until January 31st you can decide which high school you want to attend. Virtual open houses are going to be on-line this month. Just go to the LPS website to click on your high school. Each high school will go live on a different date so keep checking to see if your high school is ready to go.
High school permits due January 31st. If you want to go to a high school outside your attendance area you can go to the LPS website or see Mr. Coleman, Goodrich’s Registrar to fill out the permit. Your parent/guardian must sign on the form. Lists of where you are currently registered to go to school are posted in the 8th grade hallway. These will be updated weekly by Ms. Rasmussen. If you have any questions see Ms. Rasmussen, Ms. Meister or Mr. Coleman.
Yearbooks: Don’t forget to purchase a yearbook for the 2020-2021 school year for $20.00 in the office or you can order one online from the Goodrich Website.
