Dragon Ticket Winners:  Our Dragon Ticket Winners today are 6th grader Abdulah Hussein, 7th grader Kayla Blackson and 8th grader Adyan AlmothafarPlease come to the office during lunch to play Plinko and claim your prize!

Slime Warning:  Students are not allowed to bring slime to school.  If students are caught with slime, it will be confiscated and thrown away.

Congratulations to the following 8th grade band students who earned a superior rating at the music contest:  Jesus Worth, Elvis Vo, Wyatt Kroeger, Kevin Tran, Mia Ross, Ami Nguyen, Justus Le, Fraziona Wynn and Mindy Huynh.

Reminder:  Goodrich Library is looking for overdue and lost books. Check your school email to see if you are one of the students with late books. Those students with all books returned at the end of the school year will have a chance to win a gift card. More details later!!!

Volunteers Needed:  Are thoughts of summer swirling in your brain already?  Lincoln City Libraries are looking for summer volunteers!! If you are interested in helping with the Summer Reading Program, stop at any library for an application.  Sign up begins April 15th.

Backpack Program:  This week students can donate money to see which haircut Mr. Renfro will receive from Elvis Nguyen.

Get Slimed for the Backpack Program:  Starting this week, students will donate money for the Backpack Program during lunch to choose which teacher gets slimed in the following categories:

  • 6th Grade:  Ms. Fisher, Ms. Summerlin and Mr. Adams
  • 7th Grade:  Ms. Hastings, Ms. Hausmann and Ms. Osborn
  • 8th Grade:  Ms. Fischbein, Mr. Poore & Mr. Sis and Ms. Wise
  • The “Other” Group:  Mr. Depue, Ms. Bundy and Ms. Kortje

Athletes:  If you are interested in playing any high school sports, you should attend LPS summer athletic clinics. Every high school hosts summer camps for student-athletes from 3rd grade up to 12th grade. You can attend any school’s camps. Forms can be found in the office or can be downloaded from the LPS Athletics page. Come get some practice and coaching for the sports you are interested in! There is even a camp for student athletic trainers!
